We are the Lake Country Home Builders Association, established in 2004, a non-profit trade association affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Southside Virginia and the National Association of Home Builders, representing our members of the building industry.

The Lake Country Home Builders Association offers many opportunities for local networking that will provide countless of ways for our members to meet and build relationships with fellow professionals, customers, and suppliers.

We support the growth of the building industry and the quality of our communities through active involvement in community affairs, advocating concern for the environment while maintaining a positive climate for economic growth.

Service to our members is our primary emphasis; including offering resources that will help our members conduct their businesses with confidence and professionalism.

We feel that education will be our best defense against this rapidly changing construction industry. This is why we strongly support the continuation of Building Trades in our local schools. With the shortage of trade professionals and employees our members decided to get involved and do something to help. In the past two years we have awarded five college scholarships for Park View & Bluestone High School students. The Guest speakers at our membership meetings also bring valuable knowledge to our members and their businesses.
